Welcome to my site and allowing me the opportunity to tell you about my doll creations!

My portrait dolls are a one-of-a-kind creation; all hand-carved, using raw materials. There are no pre-made casts of any kind used. I hand-paint my doll's eyes and cover them with a clear plastic, to create a more realistic effect. In contrast to glass eyes, that some artists use, I feel my eye making method best conveys the nature of character in each doll. Also, great detail is given to each doll's costume or clothing.

My portrait dolls are truely an exclusive and original gift that can surprise even the most discerning individual, and become a great conversation piece in both the home and office.

Each doll can be styled with a realistic look, or can have a touch of fantasy or comedy added....it's all up to the wishes of the client. The portrait dolls do not need to be of a real person, but could be your favourite superhero, movie star or television personality!

In costume design, I have used Swarovski crystals, and other various high quality materials and fabrics. I use dyed Llama fur or artificial hair on the head, sintepon as the body filling over a wire frame, and most important, the highest quality polymer clay is used for making the face, limbs, hands, feet, buttons and even the shoes! The finished doll stands between 25 - 35 cm.
